Hello,
I don’t know where you live, how old you are, or whether you have any other medical problems. Treatment would take all of that into consideration.
Obesity is a chronic disease. There’s no short-term “silver bullet.” Nevertheless, we can treat it and get you where you want to be.
In my weight loss program, I use a variety of drugs and supplements, including appetite suppressants like Phentermine, Phendimetrazine, and Didrex; supplemental thyroid if indicated; diuretics as necessary; insulin-receptor sensitizing drugs like Metformin; starch blockers like Acarbose or Glyset; GLP-1 agonists like Victoza, Bydureon, or Trulicity (even though these are VERY expensive, the pharmaceutical companies have excellent patient assistance programs whereby it may be possible to get these at no cost).
Of course, carbs are the enemy. I recommend the principles of the Atkins Diet plus plenty of fiber (Konsyl, Metamucil, etc).
